Established in 1983, the Cleveland Community College Foundation's mission is to build a strong development program to ensure quality education and financial stability for the College. The Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit corporation. All contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible as provided by law.

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of the Chairman of the Trustees of the College, the President of the College, the Dean of Community Relations and local community and business leaders.
