Cleveland Community College operates under an "open door" admissions policy. There are no restrictions imposed for admission to the college, excluding the Allied Health programs. Students who have a high school diploma or GED may enroll in any program. Students without a high school diploma or GED may enroll in limited diploma or certificate programs. In most programs, students may begin working toward a diploma or degree at the beginning of any term. Most programs offer courses by day, evening, or various distance learning methods.
Adults, 18 years of older, are eligible to participate in Continuing Education classes. High school students, 16 and 17 years old, may enroll in a course with written permission from their high school counselor.
