Information for Huskins Students (Burns, Crest, Kings Mountain, Shelby High)

To make library resources more accessible to our students and faculty, we make most of our online databases available from off campus. These databases are password protected. In order to obtain passwords for remote access to NC LIVE and other databases available from the library, you must be a registered student, faculty member, or staff member at Cleveland Community College, and you must have a Cleveland Community College Student ID and Blackboard account. To obtain the passwords for remote access:

1.  Login to your Cleveland Community College Blackboard Account
2.  Click on the Library Tab
3.  Look for the passwords link and the databases listings on right side of the web page
4.  Click the Passwords link to open a Password document to print

5.  Look for the Username and Password under each database title listed below the document link

If you need assistance or have a problem accessing your Blackboard account, please call the Blackboard help desk at 704-484-4133. You will need to give the technician your name, telephone number, 14-digit Library ID number, and the last four digits of your social security number so that we can verify that you are a student.

Library hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 9:00pm, Friday 7:30am to 2:00pm (hours may differ on holiday's and between semesters)

Because we are only allowed to share these passwords with our students, faculty, and staff, you may not share the passwords with anyone, not even other students. Failure to follow this regulation will result in your loss of remote access privileges.
