Planning Council
Function:
To determine the strategic process and plan for the vision of the College. Planning and institutional effectiveness at Cleveland Community College is the responsibility of each employee and requires a commitment to a broad based, comprehensive system of planning and evaluation which makes use of assessment outcome to improve educational programs, services and operations. Integral to the planning process is the coordination of educational program and student support needs with resource allocations. Cleveland's ongoing planning process includes the critical review of the Mission Statement, the development of goals and actions plans, environmental scanning, and the assessment of outcomes and the use of assessment data in improving the system. |

Term:
Academic Programs and Finance and Administrative Services representatives will rotate on the odd numbered fiscal year (e.g., ending June 2003). Student Services, Continuing Education, Community Relations and Development, and the clerical representatives will rotate on the even numbered fiscal year (e.g., ending June, 2004). The term of rotating members will be two years; rotating members may be reappointed. |
Meetings:
The Council will at least once a semester. The Council may also have called meetings. |
